Tumi Kekane features as our LW Babe of the Week

Full name: Itumeleng Kekane

Day job: Student and work half-time in events, modeling and hostessing

Likes: Food, sleep, ice-cream, traveling, dogs and pandas

Dislikes: Spiders and arrogance

Special talents: Piano and negotiating

Our South African Babes feature with Tumi Kekane

When people meet you for the first time, what do you think their first impressions are?
In a few cases people have said that I’m a bit intimidating because I have such a straight face, but this is because I’m actually a very shy and timid person. As I grew older I started coming out of my shell a bit, but I am still quiet and very shy. When people actually come up and speak to me they get along with me very well, so I’m easy to get along with and I don’t cause conflict with anyone.

What one thing do most people not know about you?
That I’ve done Ballet since the age of 3, which is actually one of my special talents I’d say. I also play the piano.

What can you normally be found doing on the weekends?
I’m either at home chilling with my friends or boyfriend, or going out shopping. I also go to the lake here in Berlin, recreational places like that are really cool here. Usually also at a bar or nightclub. If it’s a long weekend or if I don’t have work, I’m usually traveling.

Our SA Babes feature with Tumi Kekane

You are currently living and studying in Germany. How did that journey come about?
I always wanted to travel abroad since I was young. When I lost my dad when I was 14/15, my plans changed and I knew I would not feel comfortable leaving my mom alone, so I put those thoughts aside, until I was given the opportunity when I was older and my mom supported me. During the time of the #FeesMustFall I wanted to study and finish my degree, and because of the protests and strikes going on it kinda prevented me. So I applied to study in Europe and I got in, after doing some research I saw that Germany was the most fit because they have a lot of trading companies within South Africa so I could easily go back home and work for a German company. Berlin is very multicultural, it’s diverse and it’s the capital so It’s one of the best cities to live in. Also one of the main reasons for moving to Germany is that they don’t have tuition fees, they have something called the semester ticket which costs between 200 and 300 Euros per semester.

How often do you get to come back to South Africa to visit?
I’ve been in Germany for two years now and I go home once or twice a year.

How would you best compare living in Germany and its people to back home in South Africa?
Living in Germany is much easier as a student, financially and also getting around. The county itself is really stable, the economy is stronger, it’s safer. It also has its cons, I am a foreigner in this city so I have to watch where I go and watch my back. I have to be cautious of decisions I make cause it could jeopardise my VISA and stay here. I do feel like Berlin in my second home and I have made a good amount of friends. The Germans are very serious and there’s that South African sense of humour and spirit that you can’t find here.

Our South African Girls feature with Tumi Kekane

Do you see yourself making the permanent move to Germany?
In the beginning I had the intention of coming here, studying, finishing my degree and going back home. But, living in Europe has really changed my perspective and with the way things are going in South Africa, I’m thinking of staying here. Not Berlin necessarily but definitely around Europe. I will always have a home in South Africa, maybe when I’m older I’ll come home and start my own business or continue my career there.

You have no shortage of tattoos and piercings. What attracts you to the culture?
I don’t know why I love tattoo and piercings, because I’ve been brought up in a Christian home. I started piercing myself actually, I pierced my ears. For my 16th birthday my mom took me to get my belly ring, then I got my nose pierced in Matric. When I first arrived in Berlin I went straight to a tattoo artist.

In your opinion, which place is the most painful to get tattooed or pierced?
I only have two tattoos so I cant really make a fair comparison, and I have way more piercings. My worst piercing definitely has to be my nipple piercing. The nose piercing was also painful and I can’t really explain the type of feeling.

Our SA Girls feature with Tumi Kekane

What goes through your mind when you are in front of the camera?
I try not to think when I do a shoot because when I’m thinking too much I overdo a pose. If I just let go, feed off the photographer and feed off the energy then everything becomes more relaxed and it comes naturally.

What scene from our shoot did you enjoy the most?
The ones I enjoyed the most were the ones outside, I love outdoor shoots.

What drives you?
My parents, they are both really huge role models for me. I have goals and ambitions, and I know what life I am destined to have – I drive myself. I like a challenge and I like pushing myself.

Meet Tumi Kekane as this week's LW Babe

What’s the first thing that comes to mind when we mention:

Partying? I used to party a lot, now I’m definitely more calm. I love partying and think I’m a good partier.

Music? I love music. It’s my way of escaping and I have huge passion for music.

Fantasy? Books, I love fantasy/ fictional books.

Attraction? I think of physical, mental and emotional attraction.

Foreplay? A waste of time. It prolongs the enjoyment.

Fetish? I think of feet. I don’t have a fetish myself but I have met a lot of people that have feet fetishes.

Get to know the awesome Stacey Sempiternal as our LW Babe of the week. Not only is she super intriguing, has great cooking and baking skills, and loves tattoos – she’s also one hell of a looker!

Meet Stacey Sempiternal as our LW Babe of the Week

Full name: Stacey Sempiternal

Nickname: Stace

Age: 23

Hometown: Johannesburg

Day job: Medical Practice Manager

Likes: Originality, artwork, learning new things, challenging myself and traveling

Dislikes: Unoriginal people who follow the crowd, dishonesty and arrogance.

Special talents: I’ve been dancing since I was 4, various styles from ballroom to freestyle. I did cheerleading for a while too. Apparently I have great cooking and baking skills

Our South African Babes feature with Stacey Sempiternal

Which Movie/ TV Series character would best represent your personality?
John Wick. Doesn’t have the best luck when it comes to love. Doesn’t like being told what to do. Doesn’t take shit. Fearless and determined when faced with a challenge. Loves cars, dogs and dressing well. I aspire to be more badass!

If you could live the life of any one person for a week, Who would it be and what would you get up to?
Hmmm… Maybe a member of the royal family. I’d cause chaos, do what I want, really. Laws don’t apply to them.

What drives you?
Fear of failure or being average. I have to succeed; and perpetually grow as a person.

Our SA Babes feature with Stacey Sempiternal

Tattoos – What attracts you to the industry and lifestyle?
I love the freedom of being able to express myself through artwork. The creativity, the various techniques and styles, and the challenge of perfecting and learning them. The talent and people, I have so much respect for artists who constantly push themselves to be better. Tattoo artists also tend to be really awesome people, there’s always an interesting topic of conversation or something to be learnt. I miss my days in studio of sitting and drawing together, having a laugh and jamming along to good tunes. Also, I just love tattoos! Why have plain skin?

In an ideal situation, how many tattoos would you actually like to have?
I would like to be pretty covered. At least both arms and a leg sleeve. And might ink up the rest of my back. Wouldn’t mind a neck tattoo, but I think my family would disown me.

You have dabbled in tattoo artist apprenticeship. Do you ever see it going further than that?
I would love to get back into it. Perhaps in the next few years. I want to get more corporate experience first.

Our South African Girls feature with Stacey Sempiternal

What do you like to do with your downtime?
I love reading and researching; usually occultism, spiritual beliefs and practices, and quantum and astrophysics. Bit of a paradox, I know. Drawing or making mixed media artwork. Baking, with delta blues or 50s music playing (Ella Fitzgerald) – super therapeutic. I also like going to gigs, galleries and trying new restaurants or cocktail bars with my friends. Also, couch, tea and series. So underrated!

Where do you see yourself in five years time?
Ideally living in New York or London, successful in my industry, having travelled to a few more countries, owning a bike or two (Harleys, Triumphs or Indians) and having a black French Bulldog for a sidekick.

Take us through your thoughts on the shoot with us, from location to your favorite scene?
The location was really cool. I loved the rocker feel, the band posters and electric guitars that adorned the walls. The team was really welcoming and friendly too. I really liked the last scene with my denim jacket, it was empowering.

Our SA Girls feature with Stacey Sempiternal

What is one of the first things you take into consideration when meeting a guy?
Is he humble? Can I have an intellectual conversation with him? Is he respectful? Is he interesting?

What are your words to live by?
Not really a phrase but just principles. Work hard, be open to learning new things, persevere. And when you succeed, be grateful and gracious.

Stacey Sempiternal features as this week's LW Babe

What’s the first thing that comes to mind when we mention:

Weekend? Sleeping in!

Party? Loud, energetic, fun… where’s the food?

Indulgence? Shopping for shoes and perfume. Sushi and Champagne.

Social media? Tiring but necessary.

Pet peeve? Oh god. A lot of things annoy me. People chewing loudly or with their mouths open, complete disregard for personal space (Can you not stand against me in a queue?!), strangers touching my tattoos, people interrupting my conversation. How many would you like?

Excitement? Booking a plane ticket or tattoo appointment!

LW Mag is proud to introduce Sinead Kotze in one of her first photo shoots ever! We’re privileged to bring her to you as our LW Babe of the Week, and we’re sure you’ll agree with us when we say – we cant wait to see more of her!

Sinead Kotze features as our LW Babe of the Week

Full name: Sinead Kotze

Nickname: Shay

Age: 22

Hometown: JHB

Day job: Currently I am in the process of opening up my own business, so my time and energy is going towards that while working towards finishing my Marketing Degree

Likes: The outdoors, hiking, going to the beach, spending the day out in the sun or pool. Trying new foods, exploring places I have never been to. I love to train, keeping healthy and fit while still enjoying carb loaded food from time to time [laughs]. Spending time with my boyfriend, friends and family. I also have a love for tattoos as you can see.

Dislikes: I can’t stand when people are arrogant, materialistic or vein. It doesn’t matter if you’re a 10 because if you have a bad attitude you’re instantly a 0. Looks and money aren’t everything. In my eyes you have to have substance and something more to offer in life.

Special talent: [Laughs] Does leg pressing 7 x my body weight count…480kgs

Our South African Babes feature with Sinead Kotze

How would you best explain your personality?
I am very ambitious and strong hearted. If I want something I’ll work my ass off till I get it.Very adventurous and always up for a late night drive somewhere or a spontaneous day trip out. I can be quite the clown, which the people closest to me know [laughs]. I’ve become very strong willed with my goals, always refusing to give up no matter what the odds. I’m also quite the softy with a big heart and very loyal, I’ll do anything for those I love or care about!

If we had to step into your shoes for a day, what would we experience?
Well right now you’d experience training for most of the day as I am prepping for my IFBB comp. My day starts at 5am at the gym to do cardio, I’m there till half 6. During the day I’m working on my business and my studies. On the occasion I’ll be working at an expo like Comic Con or Rage or one of my favorites, Bike Fest! Actually love all 3 to be honest. Night time is training again or relaxing at home during the week as I’m drained by end of the day. Weekends are more fun and I always look forward to them.

Our South African Girls feature with Sinead Kotze

New to modeling, what was it like to step in font of the camera?
I was nervous but really excited to take the first step into modeling. Something I have always wanted to do but never had the courage to do so until this year.

How would you best sum up your shoot with us for his feature?
The shoot was a lot of fun and made me really excited for future ones, and made me realise I need to go for everything I want in life, can’t let fear get in the way.

Do you see yourself doing more modeling in the future, and where would you like to see it take you?
I definitely would love to do more modeling in the future. One of my goals is to be on the cover of a fitness magazine, or be featured in one. I’d love to be the face of a brand.

Our SA Babes feature with Sinead Kotze

Which part of your body is your favorite?
My legs and bum, those I’ve worked the hardest on! I wasn’t always curvy, I was actually quite the stick figure growing up and honestly couldn’t wait till I could be in the gym working towards a body I felt comfortable in.

What drives you?
Proving myself right. It used to be about the people I needed to prove wrong, the ones who never believed in me but now it’s to go for my goals and my dreams and to make a success of my life, even though it hasn’t always been the easiest.

What era would you have liked most to grow up in?
I always say the 80s, as I was brought up on that music. 80s rock and oldies with some reggae to add to it. I would’ve loved to have experienced what it was like, the concerts, the way they dressed, just everything. But, at the same time I’m happy that I’m here in this era where fitness and health and everything I’m passionate about is booming, have to make the most of where you are now.

Our SA Girls feature with Sinead Kotze

What is your definition of sexy?
Confidence.

What about a guy grabs your attention?
When a guy is humble, has a great sense of humor, is soft hearted and I can be myself around them, and it doesn’t feel like they judging everything I say or do.

With summer holidays around the corner, what do you have planned for the festival season?
I would like to go down to coast again, maybe go to Cape town as I’ve never been there. Soak up the sun, maybe take a trip out to Sun City. Just have a fun filled December with my boyfriend and friends. Just enjoy life at the end of a busy busy year. Oh, and eat lots of great food with the families.

Meet Sinead Kotze as this week's LW Babe

What’s the first thing that comes to mind when we mention:

Hot and bothered? I think of laying on the beach and taking a dip in the waves or pool.

Indulgence? Chocolate [laughs], cheat meal dates.

Ambition? It doesn’t matter where you came from, it only matters where you’re heading.

Bucket list? Travel all over the world. Experience different cultures and foods. Go to Golds Gym and Venice Beach. Aaah… so many things [laughs].

LW Babe Kendra Hyman

$

Discovering new talent is both exciting and intriguing. The cherry on top is revealing that new talent to our readers, and in what better way than our LW Babe of the Week?! Introducing Kendra Hyman.

Meet Kendra Hyman as our LW Babe of the Week

Full name: Kendra Hyman

Nickname: Kendy

Age: 20

Hometown: Durban

Day job: Student

Likes: Good food, great vibes and kicking back after a long day

Dislikes: Rude people

Special talents: I can play the ‘cup song’ with two cups simultaneously, that’s as far as any talents go

Our South African Babes feature with Kendra Hyman

Give us a quick introduction to Kendra?
I’m currently a second year Mechanical Engineering student at Wits. I’m loud, vibrant and bubbly but I can also tend to be on the reserved side if I don’t know you too well. I have a really rough schedule so whenever an opportunity to get some sleep arises, I jump at it! I’m 1.55m even though the pictures may suggest otherwise, I am a bit of an energetic Oompa Loompa.

What drives you?
What drives me? What drives anyone? Ambition, goals and dedication. I wake up in the morning and I know what I want and I know how to get there. Having a game plan is essential and helps a lot when tasks seem extra daunting. It’s good to outline things you want to achieve, even if it’s just a simple to-do list for the day. You’ll feel that satisfaction of taking things off the list and it’ll push you to do more and to get more tasks off the list.

What can you normally be found doing on the weekends?
Catching up on the work covered during the week – no rest for the wicked they say. Usually I’m just trying to get myself in order for the week ahead. I rarely get to see my friends so I try to capitalize on any free time I have to see them.

Our SA Babes feature with Kendra Hyman

If you had the opportunity to do anything you wanted, right now, what would it be?
I would definitely be taking a nice long, warm vacation in some tropical paradise soaking up the sun. A girl needs a break every now and then.

What three things top your bucket list?
Getting this degree stays at number one right now, definitely bungee jumping in at least five different locations, and to go paragliding.

What is one of the craziest things you have ever done, and would you do it again?
It’s not that crazy but for me it was beyond exhilarating – I went parasailing at Sun City and it was so glorious. I have an intense fear of falling but that experience didn’t even trigger any anxiety. I would 10/10 do it again.

Our South African Girls feature with Kendra Hyman

Do you consider yourself naughty or nice?
I think the key is to have a good combination of both. Whichever one you experience is dependent on who you are to me.

Do you think people have any misconceptions when meeting you for the first time?
I have a serious case of the ‘resting bitch face’ so generally people think I’m mean and unapproachable, when I’m actually genuinely friendly and love meeting new people. People also find me intimidating for some reason that I cannot fathom, but I don’t think its a bad thing to have a commanding presence, especially as a female.

What is your definition of sexy when it comes to both girls and guys?
I think it’s all about the confidence you feel. If you feel good and like the way you look, you’ll project that confidence in your walk, body language and how you communicate. To me that gives me a positive feel about you. There is nothing sexier than someone who is sure of themselves (all within good reason). If a person is comfortable with themselves, I am comfortable with them. That’s what sexy is – owning who you are.

Our SA Girls feature with Kendra Hyman

What type of guy do you normally find yourself attracted to?
Intellectual people are so stimulating and I definitely vote for mind over outer appearance any day. It’s cliché but I believe you fall in love with someone’s soul, not their body. I enjoy the company of opinionated people even if our views differ. I generally like guys who have a strong sense of who they are and that take charge of situations. Balance is appealing to me and I believe opposites attract because if I had to date myself, I would murder me. Basically I’m more inclined to people with personalities that compliment my own.

What advice would you give to your teenage self?
Even though you don’t get it yet, you’re doing great sweetie.

What have been some of your highlights of 2018 and what are you looking forward to most this festive season?
2018 was a rough year but its been an eventful one.I would say the highlight is definitely being shortlisted to possibly be a 2019 Po10c Calendar Girl! How cool is that? I was so excited to be allowed such an opportunity. Linked to that highlight is also me doing my first swimwear and semi nude shoot ever. I never before imagined that I could do it, but I did. I’m immensely proud of myself as I was very body conscience in a negative way that drained my confidence.
Not much has happened this year but another definite highlight for me is meeting my boyfriend. He has been so supportive through everything that occurred this year. I’m on another level of happiness.
I look forward to going home and spending the holidays with my loved ones. I don’t get much time with them so I cherish the time that I do get.

Meet Kendra Hyman as this week's LW Babe

What’s the first thing that comes to mind when we mention:

Social media? Instagram.

Good times? Friends.

Flirting? Always finessing.

Pet peeve? Pen clicking.

What was it like being featured in the competition and working with the other models?
Being in this competition was so much fun, meeting all the girls and making new friends. Getting to know all the sponsors personally and having fun on set being silly and getting to play beauty queens in front of the camera, that’s always fun. The locations each day were breathtaking. Definitely one of the best parts of modeling, the views!

Our South African Girls feature with Melissa van Tonder

Which of the other entrants did you feel were your closest competition?
To be honest I think the judges had a really tough decision to make. All the girls are so beautiful and talented, and brought that special “it factor” to represent the company.

What drives you as a model?
The fun we get to have, meeting new clients and becoming part of a family/ brand. Each shoot is so different and that’s what makes modeling so interesting, you get to be a new character for the day. But, the main thing driving me is my family and husband supporting me every step of the way to pursue my dreams.

What type of modeling do you enjoy the most?
I love fashion, so clothing brands I’m a big fan of. Wearing other designers masterpieces and showing off their hard work, especially dresses/ gowns. I always feel like a princess in them.

Our SA Babes feature with Melissa van Tonder

If you could be featured as the cover model on any international magazine, which would it be and why?
Probably Vogue cause it’s such an amazing cover – classy, stylish and to be featured on a cover where all my role models have been would be a dream.

What type of exercise do you enjoy to keep your body in shape?
I recently started with Farmhouse Fitness, they are amazing. Growing up as a tomboy and farm girl, this gym just hit the spot with all the farm animals greeting you on arrival. My friend and personal trainer, Petre Beukes, knows best when it comes to our bodies and keep us in shape. Other than that I’m a swimming instructor and that’s been keeping me really fit for years, even if I’m not training.

What are you usually up to when not posing in front of the camera?
When I’m not in the swimming pool or out on shoots, I love spending time with my husband and pitbulls, going on drives, and just watching sunsets.

Our SA Girls feature with Melissa van Tonder

What are you looking forward to most this festive season?
New season, new work, new opportunities to be better. Meeting more friends from all over the world and seeing all the beautiful places Cape Town has to offer.

What is your definition of sex appeal?
Sex appeal to me is not being sexy or hot and showing off, it’s much more than that, it’s about the beauty inside and the personality that shines through.

When it comes to the opposite sex, what type do you find yourself attracted to?
My husband is my “goal guy”. I love beautiful eyes and he blew me away with his colour eyes. One is blue (my favorite colour) and the other eye is mixed, blue with a splash of green and brown. I could stare at him all day.

What one thing can’t you leave home without?
Sadly I can’t leave the house without my phone, definitely for business purposes and you never know if the perfect selfie moment can pop up.

Meet Melissa van Tonder as this week's LW Babe

What’s the first thing that comes to mind when we mention:

Cape Town Summers: Friends, ice-cream, swimming and camping.

Home: Love, family, my everything and sleep.

Travel: Never been on a plane before but road trips in SA is a blessing.

Attraction: My attraction is the view of the mountains in my hometown. Gordons Bay view is absolutely stunning.

Secret: Unfortunately that’s my secret, I will have to keep them to myself.

Flirting: Usually funny to me, the things people do.

There’s no doubting that Jade-Marié Porter will get your imagination running – she’s hella feisty and here as our LW Babe of the Week.

Jade-Marié Porter features as our LW Babe of the Week

Full name: Jade-Marié Porter

Nickname: Jade

Age: 22

Hometown: Sandton

Day job: Corporate/ Part-time student

Likes: Not giving a damn

Dislikes: Coriander…ew

Special talents: Can probably Snowboard better than you.

Our South African Babes feature with Jade-Marié Porter
Our SA Babes feature with Jade-Marié Porter

Give us a quick introduction to Jade-Marie?
I’m that girl that’s dancing on the table at the club but also the one curled up on a couch reading philosophical theories in her spare time. I’ll also take up any opportunity for an intellectual debate.

What does a day in your life usually consist of?
I wake up ridiculously early. I make sure to watch the sunrise each morning and sometimes I meditate, then I’m off to gym. I start work at 8am (traffic kills me but I blast hip-hop and have a trap party in my car every morning, so I don’t murder someone on the road). I end work at 5pm and I’m off to gym again. At night I used to get insanely high but I gave up all intoxicating substances, so I listen to my music and do some work/ study (Personal training and Bcom). Gone are my days of endless partying because now I have to be an adult and stuff you know?!

If you could play any lead role in a movie, which would it be?
I’d be the female version of Jordan Belfort in Wolf of Wall Street. Why? Uh, have you seen the movie?!

Our South African Girls feature with Jade-Marié Porter
Our SA Girls feature with Jade-Marié Porter

What do you think people’s first impression of you is?
Probably that I’m loud, confident and genuinely don’t care what your opinion of me is.

How do you see yourself spending this Summer season?
Bikinis, sunsets and good (sober) vibes – oh and I’m aiming on not wearing pants at every opportunity I get (pants are so overrated).

What are weekend’s made for?
My weekends used to consist of partying until the sun came up, but since my lifestyle change, I do a lot of cool stuff. I love hiking, and outdoorsy things. I also have a weekend house on the Vaal River, so I’m out there having myself a time Wakeboarding, Jet-skiing and all those dope things.

Jade-Marié Porter in our South African Babes feature
Jade-Marié Porter in our SA Babes feature

Tell us something that you think would surprise us?
There are twins somewhere out there with half of my DNA. I donated my eggs to this lovely couple and she conceived twins (God help those parents if they have to handle two kids like me, my parents can barely handle one).

What goes through your mind when you are posing for the camera?
“Damn, I could really do with a cheeseburger or something… this photoshoot prep got me hungry AF”.

How would best explain sex appeal?
Confidence. When a guy knows exactly what he wants and takes charge, I honestly love it. I’m hella feisty, so I need someone who can put me in my place.

Jade-Marié Porter in our South African Girls feature
Jade-Marié Porter in our SA Girls feature

You walk into a nightclub, which guy grabs your attention first?
The artsy-looking one with tattoos and long hair. I’m a sucker for pretty boys, that’s my type.

What would you rather be doing right now?
I’d rather be on the beach somewhere tropical being served a fresh coconut by some bronzed beach God whose English vocabulary is limited to “Yes Princess”.

What do you find is the best way for your to relax and unwind?
I love running [laughs], that sounds so “I’m such a perfect and healthy model omg”, but for real, it helps me clear my head.

Meet Jade-Marié Porter as this week's LW Babe
Meet this week's LW Babe, Jade-Marié Porter

What’s the first thing that comes to mind  when we mention:

Late nights? Long, deep chats on my couch outside listening to my favorite music, arguing existential theories and philosophies. Oh, sometimes late nights include partying so hard that the club kicks you out at 7am but hey – all about balance.

Good times? Laughter. My friends are amazing and you know we’re having a good time when you laugh so hard you can’t breathe (it’s normally comparing those unsolicited dick-pics we receive).

Sensual? Like what makes me feel sensual? Music. Sexy, baby-making music.

Attraction? Undeniable energy attraction, when you’re so attracted to someone your auras have a little party across the room even if you’re not looking at each other.

Tease? Me. [Laughs] yeah not even gonna lie about that one. Definitely me.

Spontaneous? [Laughs] every night out with my baes. We’re a group of six best girl friends and we’re called “The Baes” – yeah, I know, sounds like we’re trying to be in a Mean Girls movie or something but the name just stuck because that’s what we call each other. When we go out together you know things are about to get wild.

Its been quite some time since we last featured Roxy Amas, four years to be exact. Now, looking hotter than ever, we bring her back to you as our LW Babe of the Week.

Roxy Amas features as our LW Babe of the Week

Full name: Roxy Amas

Nickname: Rox

Age: 30

Hometown: Durban

Day job: makeup artist full time

Our South African Babes feature with Roxy Amas
Our South African Girls feature with Roxy Amas

Its been a while since we last featured you and we’re excited to have you back as this week’s LW Babe. What’s been happening in the life of Roxy since we last featured you in 2014?
Wow, so much has happened since 2014. I started competing in 2015, and have done 12 shows since then both nationally and internationally. Grew my name in the fitness industry. I turned pro this year and came 6th in the world out of 70 girls at WBFF Worlds. I got married last year, I started my own makeup business this year.

What has been the most unexpected thing you have experienced over the past 4 years?
Definitely placing 6th at WBFF Worlds being my first international WBFF show.

How much have you changed as a person or are you still the same Roxy we interviewed then?
Oh, I have changed so much. I’ve matured a lot and learnt so much.

Our SA Babes feature with Roxy Amas

What does a day in your life usually consist of?
Right now I’m off season, so it’s completely different to a few months ago. Right now it’s pretty chilled as I work from home and only work on bookings. I’m up by around 6.30am, have breakfast, in gym doing cardio by around 7.30am for an hour, if I have makeup clients I make sure everything is prepared for that. I train again in the afternoon around 3pm, on Tuesdays and Thursdays I’m a trainer at Rishape Umhlanga.

If you could experience any moment in history first hand, which would it be and why?
OMG, this is such a tough question. As a South African I would have to say 1994, the first free and fare multi-racial election and equality for all. This also led to a change in the constitution with provision for women’s rights that was introduced and a commission for gender equality was set up.

What are the top three things to do on your bucket list?
To travel more, hike up Lions Head and snorkel in the Maldives.

Our SA Girls feature with Roxy Amas
Roxy Amas in our South African Babes feature

Tell us something most people don’t know about you?
I’m really quiet and reserved in real life unlike my social media, but once I get to know a person I’m crazy as hell.

You obviously know how to keep your body in check. How strict are you on yourself when it comes to the fitness lifestyle?
When I’m prepping for a show I follow my diet and training to a T, and training three times a day, six times a week. However now I just eat about five meals a day train twice a day, five or six times a week. I still have a cheat meal once a week but I’m not super strict at the moment.

Which part of your body if your favourite?
My bum [laughs], because I train it the hardest and I’m proud of my gains.

Roxy Amas in our South African Girls feature

Where would you like to see your role in the fitness industry take you?
I just want to inspire and motivate others to reach their fitness goals as I have.

What is your definition of sex appeal?
Someone who has their life together and doesn’t need validation from anyone. Someone that’s not conceited, vein or arrogant but is still confident and carries themselves well.

Where do you see yourself in five years time?
Definitely with at least 2 babies [laughs]. I plan to start a family one day soon.

Roxy Amas features as this week's LW Babe

What’s the first thing that comes to mind when we mention:

Cheat days? Donuts or cheesecake.

Passion? Living life to the fullest.

Chivalry? Is dead, most men don’t even know what that is.

Turn on? Manners, honesty and chivalry.

Turn off? Rudeness of any sort and people thinking they are better than others.

Addictive? Netflix series. St the moment I’m watching The Haunting of Hill House, I’m a sucker for messed up scary shows.

LW Babe Vilécha du Plessis

The beautiful Vilécha du Plessis graces our pages as this week’s LW Babe of the Week. Get to know a bit about her in our interview below.

Meet Vilécha du Plessis as our LW Babe of the Week

Full name: Vilécha du Plessis

Nickname: Vilécha

Age: 21

Hometown: Pretoria

Day job: I just finished my degree as a full-time student, alongside my job in Network Marketing.

Likes: Sushi, wine, tropical living, fashion and anything sweet

Dislikes: Small-minded thinking, negativity, untidiness and bullies

Special talents: Artist, Hockey

Our South African Babes feature with Vilécha du Plessis

How would you best describe yourself as a person?
I am very goal-driven person and take on everything by force. Once I put my mind on something, there’s no stopping me. Alongside being self-motivated I am quite a social person with a great passion and love for people. Always shy at first, but boy, the moment those shields come off.

If you could live out one life changing experience, what would it be?
To meet my maker, because there’s an eternal life which I’m not keen to miss out on.

What drives you?
Purpose, people and passion.

Our SA Babes feature with Vilécha du Plessis

You obviously have no issue looking good in front of the camera. What goes through your mind when posing for the perfect shot?
“Damn, I hope I’m doing this right.” [laughs], it’s not all just glam, but it mainly depends on the mood and theme we’re going for in the shot. Your thoughts have a direct effect on your facial expression and body language.

How much does experience play a part in getting that perfect photo?
Experience plays a major role in getting that shot. Each person knows their bodies, angles and attributes best. With experience you know exactly what works for your look and what doesn’t, making the job for the photographer a bit easier to capture. With experience you also gain a whole lot of confidence in front of the lens.

Our South African Girls feature with Vilécha du Plessis

What does your dream photoshoot entail?
Without a doubt a shoot for World Swimsuit. Enough said.

In the current day and age, how important is social media to you?
In the modern day era we live in, social media is a definite force to be reckoned with. In all honesty, social media is my main source of financial income; whether it’s from my business in Network Marketing, collaborations with brands, influencing or part-time modeling – it all comes down to social media for me at this stage in my life.

When it comes to fantasies or fetishes, do you have anything out of the ordinary?
Nothing out of the ordinary, just fantasizing about my “happy ever after”, like any other woman.

Our SA Girls feature with Vilécha du Plessis

Tell us something most people don’t know about you?
I am very emotionally invested in people, maybe too much in a sense that it tends to consume me emotionally. Also people tend to have a miss perception of my diet habits. My weakness is basically anything containing sugar and I have a real hard time saying “no” to it. Oops!

Define sex appeal?
“Sex appeal is 50% of what you got and 50% of what people think you have.” To me sex appeal is an immediate aura and charisma experienced at first sight.

What are you looking forward to most this festive season?
Spending time with loved ones and celebrating the ultimate purpose of the festive season.

Meet Vilécha du Plessis as this week's LW Babe

What’s the first thing that comes to mind when we mention:

December holidays? Beach and cocktails.

New Years eve? Fireworks and champagne.

Attractive? Ambition.

Blushing? Butterflies.

Weird? My sister. Pshtt…

LW Babe Giovanna Smiraglia

We’re finding ourselves describing perfection in the form of Giovanna Smiraglia, our featured LW Babe of the Week. An Italian beauty with a body that has us in complete awe. Get to know her here.

Meet Giovanna Smiraglia as our LW Babe of the Week

Full name: Giovanna Smiraglia

Nickname: ‘’G’’

Age: I am 27 years old

Hometown: I live in Greenstone, Edenvale

Day job: Human Resources Manager

Likes: I love chocolate – lots of chocolate. I also enjoy art and music, but of course gym would definitely fall under my list of favorite things to do, as it’s the single part of my day that is “me’’ time, where I can be solely focused on my own goals

Dislikes: I absolutely hate bananas and avocados, strange right?

Special talents: I honestly had to think about this one, and I’m most likely still thinking about it.

Our South African Babes feature with Giovanna Smiraglia

Give us a quick introduction to Giovanna?
I am an honest and loving human, who tends to put her heart into relationships with people that are important to me, and into achieving my goals. I would consider myself to be a strong independent woman, and I wouldn’t change that aspect of myself. I guess, I would have to say that I am finding my place in the world, and focusing on balancing work, play, and being a single mom. I am passionate about the things that I invest my energy into. I may often come across as an outgoing and confident person, but in all honesty I am the total opposite; I am shy and reserved, and it actually takes a while for me to open up to people.

With the festive season here, what are you looking forward to most?
I am looking forward to spending the time off with my little girl. Waking up each morning and just getting to spend that much needed quality time with her.

When reflecting on this time of year, what comes to mind?
Family comes to mind. I grew up in a very close, traditional Italian family and Christmas has always been the time where we are all together. We cook, dine, feast, celebrate and enjoy each other’s company.

Our SA Babes feature with Giovanna Smiraglia

What are you hoping Santa brings you this year?
Well if Santa is feeling generous, a new set of Ray Bans would do.

What will you most likely be found doing these holidays?
I will most definitely be spending my days lounging at the pool or beach. You will also most likely find me in the gym.

List your top 5 holiday destinations?
Italy, Cape Town, Paris , Bali and Mexico.

Our South African Girls feature with Giovanna Smiraglia

You obviously know how to keep in shape. How strict are you when it comes to diet and fitness regimes?
Being relatively new to the fitness industry, I feel as though I still have to prove myself to myself, and that alone keeps me motivated to follow my diet and to be strict when it comes to my fitness schedule. I find that when you have set a goal for yourself, and when you are passionate about it, no matter how difficult the challenge is you will find a way to achieve it. I know what I want and I know what it is going to take to get it; I’m ready for it and no chocolate cake will stand in my way.

Which part of your body do you enjoy flaunting the most?
I must admit, it’s my stomach. It’s simple – it’s the first time in 27 years that I have managed to gain abs!

How would you best sum up your shoot with Sean Levitt?
Sean is simply the best. He is so calm and composed, and he is someone that you can feel comfortable around. I truly enjoyed every second of my shoot and I think you can see that in the final product. I am definitely looking forward to working with him again in the near future.

Our SA Girls feature with Giovanna Smiraglia

Which social media platform is your favourite?
I am an Instagram addict. The reason for this is, I enjoy seeing the moments that people choose to share with the world. I also enjoy sharing my moments with those who are interested in following my story. I follow so many amazing people that motivate me in getting up and achieving my goals on a daily basis. I feel as though Instagram is also a personal platform, as you are following what people are doing daily.

What is one of the weirdest requests you have received from a fan/ follower?
Funnily enough, I have been asked by more than one person to send pictures of my feet, and I have often received compliments on my toes. Strange fetish maybe?

If you could be anything or anyone for just one day, what or who would it be and what would you get up to?
This is going to sound beyond self-centered, I however wouldn’t want to be anyone else, not even for a second. I enjoy who I am, and I love the life I live. I wouldn’t trade my life with anyone else.

Meet Giovanna Smiraglia as our featured LW Babe

What’s the first thing that comes to mind when we mention:

Christmas? Family and food.

Good times? Friends and Tequila.

Sensual? Hmm that’s my secret.

Attractive? Someone that can make me laugh, someone who knows what they want in life.

Addictive? Achieving Results.

Mysterious? The eyes.

LW Babe Leigh Galbraith

The petite and feisty Leigh Galbraith brings her flavour to this week’s LW Babe of the Week feature – and we like it! We get to know her here.

Leigh Galbraith features as this week's LW Babe of the Week

Full name: Leigh Galbraith

Nickname: I actually have quite a few – Leelee, Peekie, Littleone, are just a few

Hometown: East London, but been in Cape Town for 14 years

Day job: Marketing Manager for Tim Tam biscuits

Likes: Chocolate Cake, Sport, Sunsets, Fashion, Nature and Animals

Dislikes: Olives, Raisins, Wind and Fake people

Special talents: I’m still thinking. I can bake a killer choc cake, I was also a gymnast so I guess my talents could be a range of things

Our South African Babes feature with Leigh Galbraith

Give us a quick introduction to Leigh Galbraith?
I am small and petite. I have a huge heart and I’m an extremely humble and modest person. I love making people laugh and just having fun. I will go out of my way for the people in my life. I love fashion – sneakers and caps in particular. I am an extremely active person and being outdoors just makes me happy. I am very independent and don’t like being told what to do [laughs], I guess that’s the stubborn and feisty side of me.

What motivates you?
That feeling of accomplishment/ achievement, the high you feel after a workout or after a long run or having achieved that goal you set for yourself. Pushing myself to be better than I was yesterday, doing things I never imagined I could or would do and not only achieving them but smashing them. Inspiring anyone is an added bonus for me.

Tell us something that most people don’t know about you?
I hate glitter [laughs], I know it sounds so weird but I cant handle that stuff on me. I’m scared of thunder and clowns. I love scary movies and I have seven tattoos.

Our SA Babes feature with Leigh Galbraith

Meeting you for the first time, what impression do you think we’d walk away with?
Probably, wow she is tiny. I get that so often when people meet me for the first time, but I guess I would say cute and funky with a huge personality.

What are you pro’s and con’s of living in the Mother City?
Pros – CT is honestly the most amazing city to live in, it has everything anyone could ask for and more, from mountains to beaches to wine farms to amazing restaurants. I fall in love with this place daily.
Cons – Probably the traffic but in saying that I get to look at the mountain when driving to work so that is kind of a pro in my books.

What are you looking forward to most in 2019?
I have so many goals that I have set for myself this year in different areas of my life.  I am really trying to just become the best version of myself and be kinder to me. I sometimes tend to be very hard on myself. I’m going to be a qualified fitness instructor in March this year which I’m super excited about.I have quite a few trail races, half marathons I am doing and the big one being 2 Oceans that I qualified for, and then hopefully completing my first full marathon in Sept. I just started surfing too, so really want to nail that this year.

Our South African Girls feature with Leigh Galbraith

If we had to spend a day in your shoes, what would we experience?
First things first would be a nice Café Mocha to start with. Training followed by fun, laughs and adventure. I am always up for something fun and adventurous, I can never sit still.  So it’s safe to say you would be busy and you would sleep very well after the day.

What do you enjoy doing most with your downtime?
What is this thing you call downtime? [Laughs] If that does happen, which is not often, probably somewhere outside in nature or lying on the beach just relaxing and being around special friends, or just vegging on the couch with my little Boston Terrier, some speckled eggs and a good scary movie.

You walk into a club, which guy grabs your attention first?
I don’t really go to clubs that often but truth be told, probably the ones that are worst for me. My choices of late are questionable [laughs]! But I do like a tall, handsome guy with a good sense of style.

Our SA Girls feature with Leigh Galbraith

What things do you look at and take into consideration first when meeting a guy?
It may sound so superficial but we’re all human, so I guess physical appearance would be the first thing that would attract me, secondly the way he speaks to me, the effort and attention shown, confidence and a sense of humour.

What is your definition of sex appeal?
Self presentation, loyalty, kind, not arrogant but is still confident and treats woman and people with respect.

If you could live out one unforgettable experience, what would it be?
A few things come to mind. An all expenses paid holiday in a beautiful destination, a shopping experience. To be able to eat as much chocolate without worrying about calories [laughs], what woman wouldn’t want that?!But I think a professional athlete would be my first choice and modelling/ representing a huge sports brand.

What’s the first thing that comes to mind when we mention:

Sunday funday? Beach, sun and outdoors.

Early mornings? Cuddles, sunrises and coffee.

Ambition? Goals.

Turn on? Effort and loyalty.

Eye catching? Style and confidence.

Fitness? Healthy body and dedication.

As if being half Italian and half South African isn’t enough to grab your attention, Angela Beccaro is also Stuntwoman in-training. Impressed much? She’s got the looks to fit the part and we’re finding it difficult to take our eyes off her.
Meet her as our LW Babe of the Week.

Meet Angela Beccaro as our LW Babe of the Week

Full name: Angela Beccaro

Nickname: Ange

Age: 28

Hometown: Greenpoint, Cape Town

Day job: Stunts PA and Stuntwoman in-training

Likes: Dancing, good food (trying new cuisines), summer/ being out in the sun, an active lifestyle, animals, adventure, movies and great television (these are great references for the industry I’m in), good reading material

Dislikes: Inefficiency, close-minded/ rude people, the way the weekend flies by, traffic

Special talent: I’m more of a jack-of-all-trades sort of woman

Our South African Babes feature with Angela Beccaro

Give us a quick introduction to Angela?
A very relaxed, down-to-earth person that values family and self-care above all. I think it’s very important to nurture a healthy self-image and to treasure those that are important in your life, especially those that are supportive of you no matter your ups or downs.

What type of lifestyle would you say you live?
I live quite an active lifestyle, dependent on my work schedule. I work in the film industry and for anyone who’s familiar with the industry knows it can be long hours and sacrifice of personal time and goals. When I get time off I usually spend it training, relaxing or finding a good food experience.

What type of lifestyle would you like to live or see yourself living in five years time?
I like where I’m at now in terms of an active lifestyle; but I’d love to be able to have a more flexible schedule, or one that allows me to travel the world a bit more. I love to experience and learn from different cultures because it helps keep an open mind, so getting to see more of the world would be the dream.

Our SA Babes feature with Angela Beccaro

If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be?
In this day and age it would probably be to stop comparing my path to that of people that I look up to and follow on social media, or that are living a lifestyle that I’m currently aspiring to. It’s great to use role models as motivation or to aid in goal setting, but sometimes I can be quite hard on myself if I haven’t reached a goal at a time that I thought I would. So I’d like to practice more patience when it comes to fulfilling my dreams.

How would you best sum up your shoot with Epix Shoots?
Shaun is brilliant. I’m so happy we pushed to get a photo shoot done, we wanted to collaborate for a while but I was always busy with work. I think there’s always a bit of hesitation working with a new photographer, but Shaun instantly makes you feel comfortable and I found myself laughing at a lot of the cues he had while I was in front of camera.

What is the best thing about living in Cape Town?
I love Cape Town because we have a bit of the best of everything. The ocean, mountain ranges, beautiful weather/ climate and there is so much to do and to see. I like a lot of options of things to do on a day off, so Cape Town ticks all the boxes.

Our South African Girls feature with Angela Beccaro

What countries have you traveled to and which have been your favourite?
I’m half Italian and we’ve got relatives there, so I’ve been to Italy a few times to visit. I’ve also been to Switzerland, Poland, Holland and Namibia. Amsterdam was definitely a highlight – we did a cycle tour along the canals on New Years for a light/ art show and that was magnificent. I would still have to go with Italy being my favourite though, the food, the culture and the country’s sites are just exquisite.

What view would you most love to see out your bedroom window every day?
Beach view, palm trees, tropical waters! Basically an island-life view.

Given the option to go on a winter holiday or a summer holiday. Which one would you take?
I would like to go on a summer holiday next. Most of the holidays I’ve been on (especially those out of the country), have been during winter. A cold, snowy experience is definitely a must, but I have always wanted to go on a tropical island adventure – so that would be first pick.

Our SA Girls feature with Angela Beccaro

What are you looking forward to most in 2019?
Much more self-growth and exploring of opportunities. I made a shift in my career at the beginning of 2018 and I want to see where my current path takes me.

What do you like to do with your downtime?
I like to do yoga or long stretching routines if I’m not training (cardio/ strength training), otherwise an outing to the beach or park to tan. Sometimes simply chilling at home with a good book or movie on the TV to unwind.

What one thing can you not live without?
Massage! I like to treat myself to a massage now and again when the body feels run down. I try to make more of a regular thing of it, because massage is so good for circulation and helps me to detox the body. Besides, who doesn’t like being pampered?

What’s the first thing that comes to mind when we mention:

Wanderlust?More traveling needed.

Guys?Mystical beings.

Girls?Beautiful creatures.

Attraction?Chemistry, electricity.

Pet peeve?People that chew/ swallow food loudly.

Weekends?Exploration, relaxation.

We’re in absolute awe with this week’s LW Babe of the Week – Belter is an understatement! Get to know Michelle Elliott while ogling through her photo-set.

Meet Michelle Elliott as our LW Babe of the Week

Full name: Michelle Elliott

Nickname: Shelz

Age: 28

Hometown: Port Alfred, Eastern Cape

Day job: Diamond sales executive and Online weight-loss coach

Likes: Sunshine, fitness and red wine

Dislikes: Obnoxious people, negativity, milk and spiders

Special talents: I can cook really great food especially lasagna, decorating/ design and makeup artistry

Our South African babes feature with Michelle Elliott

Give us a quick introduction to Michelle?
I’m a small town girl with big dreams and ambition . What you see is what you get with me, I love honesty and transparency.Very much a tomboy having grown up on a farm with two older brothers, I’ve shot guns, ridden off-road bikes and I’m always up for a physical challenge involving sport and the outdoors, so don’t let all the makeup and glitter fool you. I’m a crazy cat lady for sure, love my baby rag-doll kitty named Moo. If I’m not at work or in the gym you will probably find me either exploring a new wine farm with my fiancé, Reinhardt, or in front of the PS4 like a major nerd playing Witcher.

What are your words to live by?
What would you do if you weren’t afraid?!  Don’t let the fear of the unknown hold you back.  What you put out into the universe you will receive, so have the best intentions for all of your actions.

What one thing do most people not know about you?
I’m extremely shy, like seriously shy. Wish I could change that but hey, I am working on it. By my appearance people just assume I am an extrovert not an introvert or they assume I’m just a bitch. Not the case though. Especially in the gym, I get tunnel vision, I’m in there on a mission and block out all the rest.

Our SA babes feature with Michelle Elliott

If you could put yourself into any iconic historical moment, which would it be and why?
The only historical moment that I would really like to put myself into and change would be the Spanish Inquisition which started in 1478 and continued for a few hundreds of years. The Roman Catholic Church slaughtered hundreds of thousands to become almost world dominant – I would like to go back to that day and stop all the greed and politics, so that it would have never have happened. So many people were killed in the worst possible ways. I think if that moment was changed the entire world would be different and it wouldn’t have seen the amount of slavery and wars that it did and still does. But that’s a long debate for another type of forum.

What does your daily regime usually consist of?
First thing I do every morning is get out of bed at 5am, drink my vitamins and wake up with a strong cup of black coffee! Head out to work till 3pm, come home spend some time with my kitty playing catch (yes my cat plays ball and legit thinks he’s a dog) and catch up with my fiancé before we hit the gym. After gym its time to prep food for the next day and relax with some Netflix. If I work a late shift I will often squeeze in an hour or two of lying on the beach with a good book soaking up some vitamin D before work.

What is your favourite way to keep in shape?
I swear by apple cider vinegar, it is usually my answer to everything health and body related. My favourite would be simply going to gym though because I love the feeling of pushing your body’s limits and always trying to break PRs whether it be with your 5km run time trial or weights. If you keep setting little goals for yourself to reach in gym it keeps staying in shape fun and gives you motivation to push harder the next week. I’ve recently started drinking those super green veggie detox powders and it’s really amazing nutrient wise and makes me feel extremely healthy but, oh my gosh, it’s like drinking dirty river water with algae.

Which part of your body do you enjoy flaunting the most?
My shoulders and collar bones. I’m not so sure why but I think there is just something so sexy about a girls shoulders and collar bones being exposed.

What can you normally be found doing on the weekends?
Exploring one of many of the gorgeous wine farms that Cape Town and surrounds has to offer. Going on a new hike I’ve been dying to try out or going on a spontaneous road-trip with my fiancé to Hermanus or the West coast and surrounds.

What advise would you give your 15 year old self?
Be patient, you can’t have it all, all at once. Don’t live your life trying to please others you will only loose yourself along the way. Be you and be fearless. Tattoos are forever, give it more thought!

Our SA Girls feature with Michelle Elliott

Who is your celebrity crush, and what would you do to go in a date with him?
I would say it’s Travis Fimmel from Vikings but in real life his not all that great, so honestly would rather be on a date with my man and that’s the truth. He doesn’t need make-up and a stylist on set to make him look like a sexy beast daily.

What is the first thing you take into account when meeting a guy?
Does he lift? Very important to me. I don’t want a guy that’s going to be a negative influence on me and not have the same goals and aspirations as me. Plus, most serious bodybuilders/ health and fitness people don’t go out and party or do drugs and cheat, so girls there’s a major upside to dating buff boys.

Hit us with your best pick-up line?
[Laughs] Well I’m extremely out of practice and Reinhardt had all the moves not me. I was running on the treadmill with earphones in, I might add, he obviously didn’t know that earphones meant “don’t talk to me” but he didn’t care, he took a chance anyway and I’m super glad he did!

Damn, are we happy we stumbled across Nastassja Moller! Not only is she an absolute belter, she also enjoys an ice cold beer once in a while – a girl after our own hearts. Meet her as this week’s LW Babe of the Week.

Meet Nastassja Moller as this week's LW Babe

Full name: Nastassja Moller

Nickname:Stash / Stassja

Age:  23

Hometown: Hermanus

Day job: Swimming Instructor

Likes: Music, video games, long drives, food, animals, and cold beer

Dislikes: Driving slowly, arrogance, racism, and disrespectful people

Special talent: Balancing a drink on my head while dancing (it’s my party trick). Also, I can make friends nearly anywhere.

Our South African Babes feature with Nastassja Moller

Give us a quick introduction to Nastassja?
I am Afrikaans-speaking, and have been living in Cape Town for more than two years now. I moved around a lot growing up, which helped make me who I am today. I am outgoing, friendly, a little bit crazy, super understanding and caring, and mostly relaxed and easy-going.

What have been some of the highlights of your life so far?
Wow, quite a few! Aside from me moving so much, living in Zambia for a year was a great experience, as was winning a bikini calendar shoot in Mozambique. I took it easy in Hermanus for a few years, made some incredible memories with unforgettable friends, until I finally made the big decision to move to Cape Town, where it feels like my life has only just begun.

How would you best sum up your start to 2019?
Positive, relaxed, and exciting.

Our SA Babes feature with Nastassja Moller

What are you looking forward to most this year?
I am looking forward to all the growth and challenges. After all, they are what push us in the direction we are destined to go.

What excites you?
Life, love, definitely food, fast cars, seeing people be kind and generous towards each other, helping where I can, pulling silly faces whenever a child looks at me, but mostly an ice cold beer once in a while.

What did you enjoy most about your shoot with Shaun (Epix Shoots)?
His character. He made me feel really comfortable while shooting with him, and he made it really fun, especially in the beginning when he tried to show me the poses he wanted me to do. I would definitely love to work with him again.

Our South African Girls feature with Nastassja Moller

What can you never leave home without?
My top three are definitely my wallet, my phone (obviously), and my container for my contact lenses. You never know if I might sleep over.

What view would you most like to have out of your bedroom window?
If I could see the sunset everyday, that would be the perfect end to my day.

If you could instantly know how to speak another language, which language would it be?
Japanese! I discovered anime when I was 9 and immediately fell in love. With time I learned more about the history and culture of Japan. My goal is to travel to Tokyo, learn more about their culture, enjoy some good ramen, and definitely take part in some cosplay.

Our SA Girls feature with Nastassja Moller

What does your ultimate getaway consist of?
Some quiet time off somewhere secluded, with lots of food, some video games, movies, and someone special.

What type of guy always gets your attention?
To be honest, not a lot of guys really catch my attention.

What is a sure-fire way to get your attention?
Getting my attention should happen naturally. I am only drawn to someone if I feel that I have a real connection with that person, so trying too hard to impress me won’t do anything for you. Just be yourself, and see what happens naturally.

Nastassja Moller features as our LW Babe of the Week

What’s the first thing that comes to mind when we mention:

Cape Town? A lot of acceptance for the differences that make us unique. I love it.

Night out? Pre-drinks with some good food, great company, and later on some awesome local DJs.

Night in? UberEats, cuddles, movies, sweat pants and turning your phone off.

Dreamy? Oysters. Definitely oysters, and maybe some new clothing.

Addictive? I’m not really addicted to anything, but I love an ice cold Pepsi.

Social? Instagram. You should follow me if you like @nastassj_moller.
